The only playwright I am remotely familiar with is William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. As far as an American playwright, I read a little information on is William Dunlap. I
The Father (1789) Andre (1798) The Stranger (1798) False Shame (1799) The Virgin of the Sun (1800) Memoirs of George Frederick Cooke (1813) A Trip to Niagara (1828) History of the American Theater, 2 vols. (1832)
I have also added to the google docs, I added mine in red just because some of it was going off of what was already included. I think we have a great start just need to finalize ideas. Your ideas are all great and could see this being a great project related to our topic. Please feel free to comment/change/delete anything I am completely open to suggestions. I feel like 5th grade is a perfect grade as I do remember in 5th or 6th grade analyzing plays and going to see some short stories performed live.
I will be around all day today, if we can finalize our google docs portion let me know Meredith (since Chelsea created the google doc) if you would like to create the google maps portion or if you would like me to.
I think we have a good idea of what our google doc portion of the project is if we can just finalize and make it all "look nice". I'm working on the google maps part of our project right now.
The google maps can be found here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zF2tPVg1w42c.k5w8GSHvsfNA I also created a color coded list to go along with the map, but I did add to each location the playwright and what play(s) they are famous for.
Okay great! I will take a look at it.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I never got the email. Can you try sending it again?

ReplyDeleteAlso since I created the google doc either of you two will create the map after we discuss more.

"This map will be related to your Virtual Penpals assignment (see above) in some way .... your team decides how."
